From 1804 on the company - who now traded as “Moulinier, Bautte und Cie” - produced watches and was known for its high quality timekeepers from 1808 until 1821. The partners separated in 1826; Bautte founded “Bautte & Moynier” and Moulinier conducted his business as “Moulinier Aine & Cie.”, which changed into “Moulinier Frères & Cie” after 1840. In 1862 the company exhibited during the World Exhibition in London as “Moulinie & Le Grand Roy” and was awarded a medal. Twenty years later the name was once again different and was now registered as “Le Grand Roy & Fils”.
