Case: steel, glazed screw back, screwed winding crown, original leather strap and original steel buckle. Dial: black, "sandwich" type. Movm.: bridge movement, cal. Minerva, Glucydur screw balance.
This watch is one of a very small series of only 100 pieces. The Radiomir 1940 is inspired by the design of its historic predecessor, which it expertly combines with modern elements. The watch has a classic diameter size of 47 mm, a round, cambered bezel and a screwed back. The crown is cylindrical and the dial has a plexiglas protection.
The Radiomir 1940 comes in two versions that differ in the case material and the colour of the dial: Reference PAM00398 in red gold with a brown dial and reference PAM00399 in steel with a black dial. Both models were produced in limited editions of 100 pieces each. Officine Panerai also launched 50 sets that saw both versions together in an exclusive box with the same millesime numbering (from 1 to 50).
