Lot 150
Omega, Swiss, Movement No. 9378690, Case No. 9014332, Cal. 33.3 CHRO, 37 mm, circa 1944
A vintage wristwatch with single button chronograph and pulsation scale, so called doctor's chronograph
Case: steel, push back, oval chronograph pusher. Dial: enamel.
The brands Omega and Tissot both fitted some of their timepieces with different, improved versions of the iconic calibre 33.3 (such as this example), with the Omega version the most common one.
Early Omega chronographs in steel cases with oval chronograph pushers are very rare today and highly coveted by the collectors. This watch is certainly one of the most sought after models – its appeal lies in the unique combination of its features.
