An important and highly complicated astronomical Geneva minute repeating watch in practically new condition with perpetual calendar, moon phase and split seconds chronograph - sold on December 5th, 1919. With original box and Patek Philippe extract from the archives
Case: 18k gold, monogrammed. Dial: enamel. Movm.: bridge movement, 2 hammers / 2 gongs, gold screw compensation balance.
This intricate pocket watch by Patek Philippe is not only a sophisticated collector’s piece but also a fantastic asset. To the best of our knowledge, over the decades only about 70 examples of this type have come on the market.
This open-faced Lepine watch is unusually large - it has a remarkable weight of 162 g and feels suitably heavy to hold. The exquisite dial with numerous dials is elegantly structured.
