Case: silver, punch mark "AS" with coronet. Dial: silver champlevé. Movm.: full plate movement, chain/fusee, three-arm brass balance.
The Engelschalk family was most likely a watchmaking dynasty with widespread roots; members are recorded as makers in Würzburg, Friedberg, Augsburg, Prague, Budapest and Thorn. This is, however, the first time we hear of Johann Engelschalk of Olmütz.
