The Grande Reverso 986 Duodate won the Dutch "Watch of the Year Award" in 2010 in the price category 3,000 to EUR 10,000 euros. One of the characteristic features of the Reverso series is the reversible case with two indications, one on the front and one on the back. The Reverso Grande Duodate 986 shows the home time with retrograde date on the silvered front; the black dial on the back has a timezone display and a day/night indication. The reversible case takes its inspiration from the art deco watches in the 1930s; the functions on both dials are operated by a single manual winding mechanism, calibre Jaeger-LeCoultre 986.
