A very fine Geneva pocket chronometer - quality EXTRA - sold on October 28th, 1913 and delivered to Boyd Park Inc., Salt Lake City, Utah. With extract from the chronometer archives by Andreas Hidding

Case: 18k gold. Dial: enamel. Movm.: bridge movement "Extra", Guillaume gold screw compensation balance.

This watch is a precision instrument! It was created in Patek Philippe‘s premium quality category "Extra" with eight adjustments and 21 jewels and easily meets the most ambitious demands. Watches of this quality standard usually have a ruby endstone for the balance – only the best of them use a faceted diamond such as this timepiece, which is also equipped with a Guillaume gold screw compensation balance. The movement was regulated by master regleur J. Golay-Audemars and took part in the test for "Chronomètres 1re Classe" at the observatory in Geneve in 1912; it was awarded a score of 656 and placed 79th of 144 chronometers.
In 1912 this watch took part in the chronometer test at the Geneva observatory "Chronomètres 1re Classe" and achieved 656 points, which made it 79th of 144 chronometers in the category "Chronomètres 1re Classe".
