Case: mahogany. Dial: enamel. Movm.: full plate movement, chain/fusee, spring detent escapement according to Thomas Earnshaw, gold screw compensation balance.
August Ericsson was a well reputated Swedish watch maker and retailer having his business in St. Petersburg, starting 1865 died 1915. He used only top of the line movements like Ullusse Nardin, IWC Longines and even Victor Kullberg in his pocket watches and ship's chronometers. Delivered watches to the Csar and his family and the Russian Navy.
