A rare weight-driven domestic clock with hour strike and painted patron saints
Case: square, closed iron case with polychrome painting: on the left side door, Saint Catherine, on the right side door, Saint Florian. Open work pediment, 1 bell, 1 hammer. Dial: painted hour chapter ring with radial Roman numerals, spandrels decorated with painted crescent moon and stars on the left, sun and clouds on the right; finely cut iron hands. Movm.: iron frame, brass going train over two levels with weight winding spools, verge escapement, locking disc on the back.
