A collection of five pocket watches and a shagreen outer case

A pair-cased pocket watch with "Repoussé" decoration and matching Repoussé chatelaine with signet and vinaigrette
Case: outer case - 22k gold, "repoussé" decoration. Inner case - 22k gold, case maker's punch mark "RP" (possibly Richard Pellman of Clerkenwell), movement protection cap. Dial: enamel. Movm.: full plate movement, chain/fusee, cylinder escapement, three-arm steel balance.
Louis Leplastrier (or Le Plastrier) was born in 1768. He came from a family of Huguenot goldsmiths and watchmakers who had fled to London in 1685. Leplastrier was in a partnership with his father; he died in March 1849.
