Johann Rehle (1684-1726) was a renowned clockmaker in Friedberg – unfortunately only a few of his clocks have survived. In 1714 Rehle married Maria Anna Westnerin and the couple had nine children. All of Rehle’s clocks are of supreme quality – one of them is illustrated on page 82 of Lukas Stolberg’s "Die Kutschenuhr".
