A rare vintage wristband chronograph with 30 min. and 12h counter, so called "Pre-Carrera"
Case: steel, screw back. Dial: black.
The original black dial of this charmingly aged predecessor of the Heuer "Carrera" reference 346 NR is in outstanding condition and features three subsidiary dials with engine-turned pattern, heavy Arabic luminous numerals and hands, round chronograph buttons and curved lugs. The watch is fitted with the vintage chronograph movement calibre Valjoux 71; the calibre preceded the slightly smaller chronograph calibre Valjoux 72, which was used for many years in the Rolex Daytona for example.
