A rare German pair-cased quarter repeating verge pocket watch with "repoussé" decoration Case: outer case - gold, "repoussé" decoration: "Break during the Hunt", partly openwork decoration, chased cartouches with portraits, case maker's monogram "FCP" ("FeCit (Ishmael) Parbury?"), large lateral hinge. Inner case - gold, openwork and engravings, decorated with volutes, acanthus, shellwork, griffon and a portrait of an ancient military commander, rear bell, pusher for repetition via pendant. Dial: enamel, radial Roman hours, Louis XVI hands. Movm.: full plate movement, keywind, firegilt, signed, chain/fusee, 2 hammers, moulded movement pillars, three-arm brass balance, engraved, pierced balance bridge.
