A rare graduate's table chronometer, made at the Deutsche Uhrmacherschule Glashuette - with extract from the archives by the watch museum Glashuette Case: oak, cuneiform, brass bezel and cover. Dial: silvered, frosted, Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds, blued spade hands. Movm.: 3/4 plate movement, frosted, gilt, signed, screwed gold chatons, heavy gold screw compensation balance, freesprung blued balance spring, gold lever and escape wheel, fine engraved balance cock.
Bernhard Precht, born January 1, 1902 in Naumburg; attended the German Watchmaking school in Glashuette in 1923 and 1924. His graduation pieces are: No. 3180, table clock with lever escapement, movement diameter 50 mm No. 3215, lever pocket watch with set stones, movement diameter 43 mm
