A very fine and rare marine timepiece with barometer "Barométre Métallique" - 1st prize award at a regatta in 1867. With original blue velvet lined leather box Case: brass, round, zaponed, facet glazed front and back, engraving: "Dansk Forening for Lystseilads 1ste Praemie 1867" ("Danish Boating Association 1st prize 1867"). Dial: enamel, radial Roman hours, Breguet hands; outer enamel chapter ring for barometer indications. Movm.: round brass full plate movement, zaponed, 1 barrel for going train, keywind, solid movement pillars, platform with lever escapement, screw compensation balance, barometer with Bourdon tube.
