Case: brass, gilt, polychrome Cloisonné enamel, facet glazed on five sides, button for repeating mechanism, bell for alarm in the base. Dial: enamel, frosted and gilt mask, radial Roman numerals, small enamel chapter dial with Arabic numerals for alarm, centre seconds, blued Breguet hands. Movm.: rectangular-shaped brass movement, Chinese signature, keywind, 1 hammer / 1 bell, baluster movement pillars, 3 barrels for going train, hour strike and alarm, finely ground rack strike levers applied on the back side, platform with English lever escapement, screw compensation balance.
