A decorative quarter repeating carriage clock with quarter hour / hour self strike "Grande Sonnerie" and alarm
Case: rectangular, cast ormolu, a lotus-cast base, the front and back side with cast flower decorations, finely engraved bezel, arched hood with chased ornaments and florally decorated handle, the back side pierced and highlighted with green silk, engraving: "Echappement libre deux trous rubis", paw feet. Dial: silver, engine-turned, blued alarm hand, inlaid radial Roman numerals, blued Breguet hands. Movm.: round brass full plate movement, gilt, keywind, 3 hammers / 2 bells, 2 barrels, finely ground rack strike levers applied on the back side, pin-pallet escapement.
