A very fine and rare Geneva gold enamel pocket watch with quarter repeater Case: 18K rose gold, signed, back with exquisite polychrome enamel painting: Venus, Minerva and a winged putto in the three arches of a cartouche, gold flower tendrils on a light blue ground; enamel border with gold flowers and white enamel dots; engine-turned band, pusher for repetition via pendant, slide for muting. Dial: enamel, signed, Arabic numerals, lozenge hands. Movm.: full plate movement, gilt, signed, 2 hammers, 2 gongs, three-arm brass balance, engraved, pierced balance bridge.
