A gentleman's remarkable, very fine, heavy minute repeating pocket watch with chronograph, so called "Trip Repeater" Case: 18k gold, Repoussé foliate and flower decor on a chased ground, florally engraved band and pendant, gold dome, pusher for chronograph at "1", pusher for repetition via pendant. Dial: gold, engine-turned, radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds, 60 min. counter, blued spade hands. Movm.: bridge movement, rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, finely ground, bevelled chronograph steel parts, ratchet wheel, 2 hammers, 2 gongs, crown with coaxial pusher for the striking mechanism, "Patent CH 111339" by Rodman Wanameker 15.07.1896 ("Dispositif d'actionnement á poussoir par le avec décrochement, pour montres á répétition de tous genres"), Geneva quality hallmark, screw compensation balance, index spring fine adjusting device, counterpoised lever.
