A gentleman's very fine, rare five minute repeating wristwatch, sold in 1902 to Rudolf & Snedeker jewellers in New York Case: 18k gold, made by Robert Carrou, push back, florally engraved edges. Dial: silvered, Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds, pusher for repetition at "9", blued baton hands. Movm.: bridge movement, rhodium-plated, ground, chatoned, 7 adj., 31 jewels, 2 hammers, 2 gongs, gold screw compensation balance.
