A rare, oval one-handed watch for the Ottoman market Case: brass and copper, partly gilt, covered with abraded ray skin, the dial covered with a turquoise-coloured facet glass. Dial: enamel, polychrome flower decoration, white chapter ring with Ottoman numerals, single brass hand. Movm.: full plate movement, very finely engraved foliate scrolls, chain/fusee, verge escapement, pierced pillars, two-arm iron balance, fine florally engraved, pierced balance cock.
