A decorative gold enamel minute repeating hunting case pocket watch with chronograph for the Chinese market
Case: 18k gold, florally engraved bezels, polychrome enamel paintings on an engine-turned and translucid red enamelled background, the front lid with a pastoral scene, the back side with a white and blue Campanula; gold dome, pusher for chronograph at "12", slide for repeating mechanism, glazed movement. Dial: enamel, gold decor, radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds, spade hands. Movm.: 1/2 plate movement, frosted, gilt, finely ground and bevelled chronograph steel parts, ratchet wheel, 2 hammers / 2 gongs, governor for repetition, screw compensation balance.
