An extremely rare bracket clock movement - made at the Deutsche Uhrmacherschule Glashuette - with Lange extract from the archives

Movm.: circular brass movement, ground, zaponed, signed, diameter 110 mm, applied platform with lever escapement, frosted, gilt, large screw compensation balance, counterpoised lever.

A number of bracket clocks were produced in the early days of the German watchmaking school. Some of the trainees only created the movement and chose a case later after leaving the school. Only a very lucky collector might be able to find one of these rare pieces.
