An uniquely magnificent hunter with lavish ornamental case and movement engraving
Case: silver and pink gold, lavishly engraved with Renaissance motifs, monogram and date 1904, front with central polychrome enamel painting, inner engraving: "Emma Naab, gebor. 29. Juni 1898, getauft 14. Aug. 1898, geimpft 5. Juni 99" (Emma Naab, born 29 June 1898, christened 14 Aug. 1898, vaccinated 5 June 99). Back with central polychrome enamel painting, inner engraving: "Emma Naab geb. Wolff 1. Feb. 1838, gest. 28. Aug. 1904" (Emma Naab née Wolff, 1 Feb. 1838, died 28 Aug. 1904) and "Carl Naab geb. 21. Mai 1823, gest. 22. Sept. 1861" (Carl Naab born 21 May 21, died 22 Sept. 1861). Gold dome with silver rim and engraved family crest, pendant with lavish engraving and volute decoration. Dial: enamel, radial Roman numerals, auxiliary seconds, gold Louis XV hands. Movm.: 3/4 plate, ebauche: Longines, white gold, chased, diamond chatons, gold screws, gold screw compensation balance, blued balance spring, florally engraved balance cock, unusual fine adjustment device in the form of an anchor, side lever, train with gold chatons and diamond endstone.
