A rare Swiss graduate's piece of the watchmaker school Le Locle with minute repeater and chonograph in a Niello-silver case
Case: Niello silver, Art Nouveau lilly decor, case maker's punch mark "Niel HF" (Huguenin Freres / Huguenin Freres & Co. / Fabrique Niel), chronograph pusher via crown, slide for repeating mechanism. Dial: enamel, Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds, 30 min. counter, blued Breguet hands. Movm.: bridge movement, rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, finely ground and bevelled chronograph steel parts, ratchet wheel, 2 hammers / 2 gongs, "Patent Swiss 7833", governor for repetition, gold screw compensation balance.
