A gentleman's minute repeating pocket watch with chronograph - with original box, additional dial with Roman numerals and spare parts
Case: 18k gold, engine-turned, monogrammed, signed gold dome, pusher for chronograph via pendant, pusher for repetition at "9", inner lid with presentation engraving: "Robert Tarrant Jr. Chicago 1903". Dial: enamel, Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds, 30 min. counter, blued spade hands. Movm.: bridge movement, frosted, gilt, finely ground and bevelled chronograph steel parts, ratchet wheel, 2 hammers / 2 gongs, governor for repetition, screw compensation balance.

The Felt & Tarrant Manufacturing Company
Dorr Eugene Felt (1862–1930) was an American inventor and industrialist who was known for having invented the Comptometer, an early computing device, and the Comptograph, the first printing adding machine. The Felt & Tarrant Manufacturing Company that he co-founded with Robert Tarrant on January 25, 1889 remained a major player in the calculator industry until the mid-1970s.
