A very fine ship's chronometer with 56h power reserve indicator made for Alexander Stirling, Montreal, with transport box
Case: mahogany. Dial: silvered. Movm.: brass movement, spring detent escapement according to Thomas Earnshaw, heavy "Kullberg"- auxiliary compensation balance with 2 weights and 6 screws.

A marine chronometer in excellent condition created in the workshop of Victor Kullberg, who was, according to Tony Mercer, "one of the most inventive and prolific maker of chronometers and movements in the 19th and 20th centurys".
