Breitling à Genève, "Chrono-Matic Chronographe Certifie Chronometre", Case No. 2022513, Ref. H41360, Cal. 41LC, 44 mm, 157 g, circa 2010
A heavy automatic wristwatch in practically new condition, with chronograph, date and sliderule funcion via turnable bezel - limited edition no. 216 of 250 pieces
Case: 18k rose gold, screw back with engraving, crown on the left, original 18k rose gold buckle. Dial: black.
This fine wrist chronograph in an 18k rose gold case takes its inspiration from its 1969 predecessor, which was one of the first ever self-winding chronographs – in all these years the "ChronoMatic" has never lost its appeal. The timepiece is part of a limited edition and owes much of its allure to the powerful, large 44 mm rose gold case with the beautiful black dial. The silvered indications with delicate red accents of the tachymeter scale, two subsidiary dials for the seconds and the 30-minute counter as well as the small date window stand out from the black ground to catch the eye of the viewer.
