Case: 18k pink gold, sapphire glass screw on back, original 18k pink gold buckle. Dial: silvered, engine-turned, applied pink gold Roman numerals, window for tourbillon cage, pink gold alpha hands.
The "L.U.C 150 All-in-One" is a magnificent watch that certainly lives up to its name by combining nearly all existing horological complications in one timepiece. This outstanding and remarkable instrument was launched on occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Chopard brand and is part of a special edition of 15 timepieces only, in 18k white and red gold; it is a marvellous culmination of the horological knowledge and the skills the brand uses to create their own movements. The meantime dial displays hours, minutes, days combined with 24-hour scale, months combined with leap-year indication, the date and a tourbillon carriage combined with constant seconds. The celestial dial on the back - which unfortunately remains hidden for most of the time - has indications for the equation of time, day/night, sunrise and sunset in Geneva, Switzerland, as well as the power reserve and the moon phases, all appearing within a display of the night time sky over Geneva.
This technical masterpiece is powered by the novel manual wind L.U.C 4TQE calibre, which is a proprietary design of the Chopard manufactory. Chronometer movement L.U.C 4TQE comes with a COSC certificate and the prestigious Poincon de Genève seal; is consists of 516 individual parts and has four barrels (2 x 2 stacked barrels), which produce a power reserve of 189 hours, i.e., seven days. The remaining power is displayed in a window at 12 o’clock on the celestial dial.
The 46 mm case of the "L.U.C 150 All-in-One" is made of 18k red gold and waterproof to a depth of 30 m. The two levels of this timepiece are a perfect embodiment of the new style of complicated L.U.C models Chopard launched on occasion of their 150th anniversary.
