Heuer, Swiss, "Calculator", Automatic Chronograph, Case No. 299128, Ref. 110.633, Cal. Buren 12, 45 x 47 mm, circa 1972
A rare, large automatic vintage wrist chronograph with 30 min. and 12h counter, date and sliderule funcion via turnable bezel
Case: steel, screw back, crown on the left, bidirectional rotating bezel with tachy scale, original steel bracelet, bracelet length 140 mm, total length 185 mm. Dial: blue.
The Heuer Calculator chronographs are fitted with two bezels: An inside fixed bezel and an outside, revolving bezel which works as a slide rule or marks the hours and minutes. The wrist chronograph reference 110.633 has an automatic movement calibre 12 and two counters on a deep blue dial with orange-coloured hands and accents.
This timepiece is in remarkably good condition and seems to have been hardly worn. The luminous mass of the markers and the hands has slightly darkened but complements the dial perfectly. Altogether this is an exciting watch in well-looked after condition.
