A rare equatorial sunring with original wooden box
Case: brass, silvered, geographical declinations of several German cities in the wooden box. Meridian-ring: suspension ring is attached to bracket by means of a hook and moves in grooved rim, engraved degree scale divided clockwise from 0°-90°. Equatorial ring: engraved, observe side with 24 hour division with inlaid Arabic numerals. Bridge: engraved scale initials of the months, pinhole gnomon has indexes that move over the bridge scales.
