A Geneva wristwatch in mint condition, with 10 days power reserve indicator - jubilee watch, limited edition of only 250 pieces, produced to celebrate the year 2000 - with original box, leather wallet, C.O.S.C. rating certificate, Patek Philippe certificate, reference 5100 limited edition attestation, operating instructions, brochure, Geneva seal and commemorative medal - full set!
Case: 18k gold, screwed on glazed back, 18k gold Patek Philippe buckle. Dial: silvered, grained, applied gold indexes/Arabic numerals, gold dauphine hands.
This anniversary watch comes from the original owner and is presented as a "full set" with all its accessories.
Patek Philippe’s reference 5100 was launched to commemorate the new millenium and is once more a fascinating blend of technical know-how and breathtaking design: The novel 10-day movement is a horological benchmark – it is driven by two powerful mainsprings showing off their large rubies through the crystal back. The shape of the case is a nifty look back at the historical reference 2554 whose compound curves gave the watch the nickname "Manta"; to avoid any misunderstanding as to where the inspiration comes from, the user instructions actually include the picture of a manta ray.
Reference 5100 was produced in a limited edition of 3,000 pieces only, with 1,500 yellow gold, 250 red gold, 450 white gold and 300 platinum versions. The tools used to create the case will never work again – reference 5100 will always be a one-of-a-kind special edition.
