An impressive, extremely rare and large 18k rose gold wristwatch in practically new condition, with twin rotating tourbillons - with original box in the shape of a watchmaker's desk, operating instructions, certificate and booklets
Case: 18k rose gold, glazed push back, reeded band, Breguet 18k rose gold deployant clasp. Dial: gold, silvered, engine-turned.
The Classique Grande Complication double tourbillon combines two independent tourbillons on a central plate via a differential gear; one revolution of the plate takes 12 hours. The hour hand is mounted on the bridge connecting the two regulators, while the minutes are indicated by a central, moving hand. The manual winding mechanism is hand-engraved and the silvered gold dial was ornamented by hand with an exquisite guilloche pattern.
This double tourbillon by Breguet, a rose gold reference 5347, is in marvellous overall condition and an excellent opportunity for any collector to acquire a truly unusual wristwatch created by the brand whose founder was the man who invented the tourbillon.
