An exquisite hunting case pocket watch in a niello-gold case with rare original horn box
Case: 14k rose gold, outside front and back case covers with identical niello engraving (conch blowers sitting around a lidded vase, flowers and scrolls), decorated band, numbered and signed gold dome. Dial: enamel, radial Roman hours and Arabic minutes, auxiliary seconds, blued spade hands. Movm.: bridge movement, German silver, stripe-decorated, 17 jewels, gold screw compensation balance, blued balance spring, counterpoised lever.
