An automatic military-type diving wristwatch in almost mint condition, with date, power reserve indicator and second time zone "GMT" - limited edition no. 1937 of 2500 pieces - with original box, protective cover, second strap, screwdriver, operating instructions and certificate
Case: steel, glazed screw back, winding crown guard, original caoutchouc strap with steel buckle. Dial: black.
Officine Panerai's automatic calibre P9002, entirely made in-house, is used in a number of Luminor 1950 and Radiomir models. The design of this movement is quite unique – two barrels guarantee a power reserve of 72 hours and the calibre also has a date indicator and a seconds reset device, which means that the watch can be synchronized perfectly with a reference time signal. A specially made version of the Luminor 1950 case was designed for the movement; it keeps the proportions of the original case but has a slightly less convex sapphire crystal so that it is only slightly higher than the bezel.
