A very attractive Art Deco "pendulette de bureau 8-jours à quantième perpétuel et phases de la lune" - with perpetual calender, 8-day duration and moon phase, manufactured in 1926 and sold to Monsieur Slavik on September 13th, 1946 - with original box and Breguet extract from the archives no. 4493
Case: silver, glazed movement. Dial: silver, matted, applied Arabic Art Deco numerals, auxiliary seconds, moon phase, day-, date-, -month and leap year indication, blued lance hands. Movm.: round 2/3 plate movement, gold screw compensation balance.
This perpetual calendar made by Breguet weighs nearly 1.5 kilos and has an exquisitely matted silver case with a marvellous Art Deco style dial with central sunk subsidiary dials. The clock's precision movement has been equally beautifully finished.
