Société des Arts de Genève, 57 mm diameter, 1910
Silver medal - First Prize, awarded to Vacheron & Constantin by the Société des Arts de Genève for chronometer no. 346636, regulated by G. M. Grandjean in 1911.
This is a special award for the competition between chronometer makers who had presented five or more chronometers for testing during the year. The classification was based on the number of bulletins awarded at the test and on the average results of the five best chronometers.
Whereas it was possible for chronometers to be awarded a Bulletin de Première Classe together with a first prize, a second prize, a third prize or a mention, this silver medal was the only award given to the chronometer makers, as first prize, per year.
