Vintage watches and oldtimer cars are a favourite motif in advertising and relevant magazines and what we have here is a similar, quite striking context - Ford Motor & Cie., a long-established motor company from the early days of the automobile purchased a chronometer by renowned maker Breguet. Henry Ford was known for his great interest in yachts and sailing and owned several large yachts, which he used this precision instrument on.
