Case: 14k gold, radial engine-turned pattern. Dial: enamel. Movm.: 1/2 plate movement, screw compensation balance.
After the company Louis Audemars & Fils went into administration, the two sons of Charles Henri Audemars, Hector and Charles-Henri founded the Swiss watch manufactory Audemars Frères in Geneva and (Le) Brassus. The watches they produced were of supreme quality and are highly sought-after by collectors today. Audemars Frères was initially very sucessful but had to close down in 1909 because of an unpaid bill.
