A gentleman's extremely rare, very fine, skeletonized pocket watch in the shape of a vase with visible balance and enamel medallion
Case: rose gold, reeded border, glazed on both sides, reeded case band. Dial: eccentric white enamel dial with Arabic hours and blued Breguet hands; on the back side a polychrome enamel medallion depicting a young lady breaking Cupid's arrow of love to pieces. Movm.: skeletonized movement in the shape of a vase, pink and yellow gilt, lavishly florally engraved, keywind, chain/fusee, round movement pillars, verge escapement, three-arm steel balance.
