Case: rose gold, engine-turned, the bezels with an applied yellow gold flower border, the centre decorated in high relief with the chased coat of arms of the "Nevill Abergavenny" family with motto "Ne Vile Velis" ("Don't wish anything bad"); reeded band, slide for for activating the musical movement, case maker's punch mark "ML". Dial: gilt, engine-turned centre, inlaid radial Roman numerals, blued Breguet hands. Movm.: bridge movement, keywind, frosted, gilt, 2 hammers / 2 gongs, 2 going barrels, sur plateau musical movement with pinned disc, cylinder escapement, three-arm ring balance.
