A rare automatic wristwatch in near mint condition, with date, sold on September 11th, 1992 - with original box, operating instructions, original punched certificate and original sales receipt
Case: steel, engraving "Original Oyster Case By Rolex Geneva", screw back ref. 73090, screwed Rolex "Twinlock" winding crown, bidirectional rotating black bezel with 60 minutes division, folded steel Tudor bracelet ref. 7837 with endlinks stamped 369B, clasp P9, bracelet length 150 mm, total length 190 mm. Dial: black, luminous Mercedes hands (both tritium).
While this timepiece obviously takes its inspiration from Rolex’ bestselling Submariner model, it is a rather unusual interpretation of the theme. The case and dial designs of that most successful and legendary Rolex watch has been repeated in a 33 mm size here – making it a smaller alternative for either a lady who loves her sports or a discerning collector with a liking for the unusual.
