A rare verge pocket watch with so-called "wandering hour"
Case: silver, case maker punch mark "TF". Dial: enamel. Movm.: full plate movement, chain/fusee, keywind, three-arm brass balance.
The retrograde minute display sits in the top half of the white enamel dial. Underneath is a semi-circular cutout reveals a revolving brass disc engraved with hunting scenes; a window displays the hours. Below this semi-circle, a retrograde scale indicates the quarter hours. The lower part of the dial is decorated with garlands of gold flowers and leaves.
