An automatic Geneva wristwatch in near mint condition, with day/date indicator and moon phase - with original box
Case: steel, screwed on back with engraving, screwed crown, AP steel bracelet, bracelet length 120 mm, total length 160 mm. Dial: white, "tapisserie" pattern.
This steel "Royal Oak" features a date and day of the week indication which is coupled with the moon phase display at 6 o’clock. The 36 mm case size ensures comfortable wearing for everyone, no matter what size the wrist. The watch incorporates all the elements that made the Royal Oak the legend it is today: The screwed-in, octagonal bezel with chamfered and polished edges designed by Gerald Genta, the "tapisserie" dial and the integrated bracelet. In 1972 the "Royal Oak" was one of the first luxury timepieces in a stainless steel case – and it would have a lasting effect on the the watch market.
