Case: wood, ebonized, facet glazed front door and sides. Dial: silvered. Movm.: rectangular-shaped brass movement, Graham escapement with adjustable ruby pallets, adjustable and lateral pendulum drive device, pendulum spring suspension.
As one of the few makers today to produce outstanding precision pendulum clocks, Erwin Sattler creates timepieces of supreme quality in very small numbers; model 1935 – this is the early movement number 13 – is a wall clock in an unostentatious, modern case that uses superior technology in the tradition of Strasser & Rohde. The seconds pendulum with two cylindrical weights and lateral lever escapement is fitted with an aneroid barometric compensator and a plate for additional weights. Two extra weights are available in the accessory kit.
