A rare calendar disc of high quality "Calendarium Perpetuum"
Case: silver, brass, gilt brass, engraved.
A window on one side of the disc displays the age of the moon and the moon phase, which is also shown with a symbol in a round aperture just below the window. The inner disc shows the start of the seasons, with the number of days, length of day- and nighttime, sunset and sunrise for each month on the other side. The perpetual calendar with the days of the week and the days of the month is visible in a cut-out. The holidays of the months are spread over both sides of the gilt brass disc.
