A rare, early Dresden hour repeating officer's carriage clock with hour self strike and alarm
Case: brass, engraved decoration: laurel festoons and a fruit basket on the front, contoured brass block feet with engraved flowers, glazed sides, contoured pediment, round handle on top, engraved regulator scale, rear bell, pusher for repetition. Dial: enamel, Arabic numerals, applied central brass alarm disc, pierced blued iron hands. Movm.: rectangular brass full plate movement, keywind, chain/fusee, 1 hammer, baluster movement pillars, 2 barrels, verge escapement, three-arm brass balance.
