This chronograph is a an impressive model of Patek Philippe’s famous reference 1579. The lugs are thought to resemble the legs of a spider and make this piece stand out from all the other chronograph wristwatches Patek Philippe produced during the same period of time. Equally outstanding are the fine, more or less perfect condition of the watch and the material of the case with the marvellous rose gilt dial - together they make this a truly remarkable timepiece and a magnificent example of the reference 1579.
