A very fine, unusual and rare Hungarian table clock, presumably masterpiece - with a signed winder, inscribed "Tiz köben járó nyolcz napos cylinder óra" (ten cylinder, eight-day clock) Case: ebonized, ogee shaped base with ormulu foliate mounts, 4 bracket feet, later rectangular glass dome . Dial: very finely foliate engraved silvered dial plate, brass frame, matted chapter ring with radial Roman hours, centre seconds, signature shield, blued Breguet hands; surmounted by a large very finely florally engraved platform with cylinder escapement. Movm.: trapezoidal brass movement, glazed on the sides, gilt, keywind, baluster movement pillars, ring balance.
