An early Dresden hour repeating officer's carriage clock with hour self strike and alarm
Case: brass, engraved decoration: flowers and a fruit basket on the front, the sides and the contoured brass block feet with engraved thistle flower heads, glazed sides, contoured pediment, round handle on top, rear bell, lever to set striking or silence, pusher for repetition. Dial: enamel chapter ring, radial Roman hours, central alarm disc with radial Arabic numerals, the pediment with additional enamel dial for regulation, blued Breguet hands. Movm.: rectangular brass full plate movement, keywind, chain/fusee, 1 hammer, baluster movement pillars, 1 barrel, verge escapement, three-arm brass balance.
